I called in here on a chilly Sunday and settled down in a comfy nook by the open fire place to enjoy a very generous and super tasty home made cottage pie. Lots of great antique and retro memorabilia to peruse. I found a retro Thunderbirds board game which I couldn’t pass up! Definitely a worthwhile lunch stop.

This place gives me a feeling of “home”, so warm, especially with that lovely chicken veggie soup in that rainy day, it colors my day. Thanks so much. Also, I like the vintage style of the place, it’s truly memorable!

This review is about 2 years late! I remember my wife and I stopped by, had a nice coffee and a random home-made pie of some sort. The lady was very nice. We took some silly photos outside, with the cardboard cut out lady, so definitely worth a drive thru here

We were heading to Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary and wanted to fill our bellies before the trip. Bumped into this one and was totally out of expectation. It’s a small family style store and the owners were very friendly to introduce the menu. We ordered a chicken soup in the picture and a spinach cheese pie. Both were brilliant! The soup was sophisticated with multiple ingredients: chicken, beans, onion and some more. Might not be the top premium foods, but nothing to compare in the town around!

Absolutely brilliant! Some of the friendliest service I’ve ever experienced! Mandy went out of her way to make us a delicious home-style breakfast! This place has character, charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere! I never leave reviews but this place deserves a good word! Worth even just walking in to have a look and a chat! Thanks so much Mandy!
